NEARPOD

Nearpod is an online tool that allows teachers to use slide-based teaching both in the classroom and remotely thanks to a hybrid layout.

Teachers can create lots of different interactive learning resources that allow students to engage and learn via their device or a single screen in the room. It's also possible to add in question points along the way and have the students take part as you go.

Nearpod is also useful as a formative assessment tool and can output student efforts in easy-to-analyze graphs and charts for a clear snapshot of progress.

Advantage

Versatility: You have the ability to add elements to interact with students. You can add "quizzes" (multiple choice), open questions, findings, activities to draw or upload photos, fill in the blanks, etc. In addition, content can be added from a pdf, youtube video, audio file, web page, and you can include it from your device, from Google Drive, Dropbox or Box.

Convenience: It allows you to easily evaluate the answers of the students, since they are sent automatically by email or consult them from your account. In addition, the generated reports can be exported in pdf or excel format, which will facilitate the transcription of the notes.

Content: Nearpod has a large number of presentations on all topics ready to use in your class.

THINGLINK

ThingLink is a powerful way to use technology to make education more engaging. It does this by allowing teachers to turn any image, video, or 360-degree VR shot into a learning experience. How? The website and app-based program allows for the addition of icons, or 'tags,' which can pull in or link off to rich media. For example, that could mean using a painting by Picasso, then placing tags at certain points that can be selected to offer text explaining a technique or historical points about that area of the painting - or perhaps a link to a video or story providing even more detail.
